Our Story
International Icons began as a social community of Liberians and friends connected by brotherhood, sisterhood, and a shared desire to improve lives back home.
Over time, that connection grew into a larger purpose — giving back to Liberia, supporting communities, empowering youth, and using global experiences to create meaningful impact.
Why Liberia Matters
Liberia is Africa’s oldest republic, founded on resilience, independence, and pride. International Icons believes Liberia’s future depends on people willing to invest in its communities, youth, and natural potential.
Liberia declared independence in 1847 and has long stood as a symbol of Black independence, leadership, and self-determination on the African continent.
Liberia is blessed with valuable resources including iron ore, rubber, timber, gold, diamonds, fertile land, and access to the Atlantic coast.
With fertile soil and strong rainfall, Liberia has major potential in farming, food production, palm, cocoa, cassava, rice, and value-added agriculture.
